When will we begin to see plum crazy purple challengers on dealer lots?

You'll sell PCP after Chrysler finishes the run of Detonator Yellow Challengers.

Well, they're scheduled to start building plum crazy on december 14th. So I dont know whether that has anything to do with detonator yellow, or whether that is gonna be taking the place of b5 in the paint lines, hemi orange, or dy. I have a feeling they wouldn't be relying on the finish of dy to start plum crazy and that they would use another one of the limited colors that finished a bit earlier. Because, we all know, there is another surprise coming this spring... and I have a pretty good feeling I know what that will be...

...Panther Pink 40th Anni T/A Challenger w/6.4L

...also available in Plum, Lime, Orange, Yelo, 5 colors only, limited availability as in 1970

the hood is finally available, the rear spoiler is ALREADY available, front spoilers are already on the car...just needs a T/A stripe kit and a few extra goodies to have a 40th Anni Edition T/A...instead of 340 SIX PAK on the fender, how about

............... 6.4 HEMI
............... 40th Anniversary

If you are looking to BUY Plum Crazy, I would HIGHLY suggest you order one ASAP.

Highly doubtful you will see even a few on dealer lots because of the limited run and pre-sold orders for that color. Also, a dealer than gets one or two in PC will very likely be asking around $5000 over Sticker for it.

So if you really want one, get with a GOOD dealer now or call Bob Frederick. :bigthumb:

DETOUR;

If you got a buck for every time you have steered people towards the guy that makes things happen, Bob Frederick.....I suspect you would about have your Chally paid for before getting it!!...LOL

In all seriousness though; Great advice.....My thought is that you won't see them like you won't see DY's for the same reason and when they do hit the lot....it won't be till early to mid Feb.....after they crank out the DYs and then shut down for 2 weeks again and come back to start building the PCP's in Mid December. Shipping these cars seems to take the longest of all parts to getting them.

My experience SO FAR with Bob Fred has been great with very quick replies to questions and a very friendly, personable and professional attitude.

Now Bob just needs to get MY DY to D1 like some others I've seen. :browsmiley:

I have all the confidence in him from personal experience so far and the fact that EVERYBODY loves the guy. :bigthumb:

RM;

I had seen that from Resumespeed in a post sometime back...time flies so I am thinking a week or 2 ago......I got that from the website that everyone always refers to regarding delay dates, etc.

I am not doubting Resumespeeds knowledge, more I was thinking they bumped it back to the original date. DY went through the same deal on that site for a brief as well...it was bumped to a later date, then changed back before the original date was even here....so they ended up starting them as originally scheduled.

One thing i surely have learned from this site and scheduling of things is:

Nothing is set in stone and all things can and will change as a general rule!!:)

Sweet! My dealership put in a an order for my Plum Crazy R/T Classic yesterday and it was accepted by Dodge. 2% over invoice, which is about $1,200 under sticker. 6-speed and naviagtion are the only options I added.

I've had a Yellow Super Bee Charger, a Hemi Orange Challenger, and have a PC Challenger on order(and if Sublime would have come before the PC, I would have ordered it)-all from a guy that back in the day wouldnt buy any muscle car unless it was black. But, I just dont think I could do pink. Id like to see it, and most of you would too, but how many of you guys really have the guts to buy pink?

JS29R0B, I'm thinking more along the lines of a sublime... Dodge has already showed what they are doing as far as offerings from the factory go with the T/A hood, in the mopar exterior apearance package. They decided to combine some altered aar stripes, the t/a hood, a go-wing spoiler, and I believe the rallye inspired 18 inch wheels. I highly doubt we would see a T/A from the factory, but yes it would be awesome. I would assume an r/t would be the base with the original being a 340, and the new 5.7 being a 345. Yeah, I know it wasn't a hemi, but I don't see them putting their biggest engine into a trans am inspired car. Then again, we've seen what they have given us so far, so there really is no telling.
